Frequently Asked Questions
Q.What is the difference between a dumpster and a dumpster trailer?
A.A dumpster is a large, steel container with an open top and hinged door(s) at one end. Dumpsters typically come in various sizes, ranging from small 10-yard containers to larger 40-yard containers, and are designed to be stationary while being filled with waste. They are placed on wood boards on your driveway. A dump trailer is a tow-behind trailer with hydraulic lifting mechanisms that allow it to tilt and unload its contents. Dump trailers come in different sizes and configurations, have an open-top design, and are often constructed from steel or aluminum. The also have an opening rear door, and unlike regular dumpsters the only thing that touches the ground is their wheels. Another benefit is that they are more maneuverable and can be put in tighter spaces.
Q.What dumpster sizes do you have?
A.We have 15-yard and 20-yard roll-off dumpsters, and 15-yard dumpster trailers. We also offer 30-yard and 40-yard combinations, which consist of two of our 15 and 20 yard dumpsters.
Q.How long can I keep the dumpster?
A.You can keep the dumpster for up to 7 days with the option to add on additional days for an extra charge.
Q.Will you take my old appliances?
A.Yes, we take appliances. We safely transport and dispose of refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and so much more. We ask that all large appliances be placed at the very rear of the dumpster so that we can open the doors and put them in the recycle area of the landfill.
Q.How much weight can I add to the dumpster?
A.All of our dumpsters include two tons of debris in the rental price. Anything over two tons is billed at $85/ ton. The maximum weight capacity of the dumpsters is five tons.
